In relation to the high-rise public housing towers in the Prahran electorate:
(1) When will air conditioners be installed in each property.
(2) What kind of air conditioners will be installed.

I thank the member for their questions in relation to the installation of air-conditioning into the High-Rise Social housing towers specifically those in the Prahran electorate.
Electrical Infrastructure assessments are underway throughout the tower portfolio. The infrastructure assessments, and the subsequent infrastructure upgrade program will form a key consideration as to when specific towers will fall within the air-conditioning program.
Extensive proof of concept trails determined that both unitary air conditioning systems and portable air conditioning provided an adequate cooling solution. The recent announcement to redevelop the high-rise towers as part of the Housing Statement will form a key consideration in the prioritisation and programming of the kind of air-conditioning installed into the towers.
