Sam Hibbins to ask the Minister for Roads and Road Safety —
In regards to St Kilda Road bike lanes:
(1) Will the Government consider changing the parking arrangements to improve driveway safety.
(2) Is the Government considering reducing the speed limit along St Kilda Road.
Response from the Minister for Roads and Road Safety
DTP is working closely with both Melbourne City Council and Port Phillip Council to investigate speed reduction to 40 km/h along the St Kilda Road corridor from Princess Bridge to High Street. It is expected that the investigation will be completed by the end of this year.
